The Dayton House Resort Policies

Reservation Policy

  • An advance deposit is required upon booking; the deposit consists of one night’s room and tax or $100.00 per person for golf packages.
  • Rates are subject to city marketing and resort fees and 13% tax; tax rates may change without notice.
  • Reservations are not final until property acceptance via email.
  • The balance of charges is due upon arrival.
  • Room rates are based on 2 adults and 2 children unless otherwise noted. Additional adults over age 17 will be charged a fee of $10.00 per night plus tax. The total “Amount for Stay” includes all room or package charges, taxes, and fees based on stay obligations, # of guests, or minimum night restrictions.
  • Special Requests: Considerations and every effort is made to honor a request; however, we are unable to guarantee them.


Check-in Policy

  • Check-in time is 3 pm; Check-out time is 11 am.
  • A valid photo I.D., as well as the credit card used to pay your deposit, will be required at check-in
  • Minimum check-in age is 25 or older unless accompanied by an adult
  • A $100 security deposit is required on cash payments.
  • Once registered, there are no refunds for late cancelations, early departure, or not arriving at check-in on your scheduled arrival date.
  • All rooms are NON-SMOKING. A $250 cleaning fee will be charged for evidence of smoking.
  • Any card used for any payment must be present at check in with a matching ID or we will not be able to accept the payment. The first-night deposit and any additional payments wanting to be made, need to be made 30 days prior to arrival or the payment has to be made at check-in.
  • City ordinance requires that the individual paying for the room must be present during the stay. As such, if deposits are paid by credit card, said credit card must be presented at the time of check-in by the cardholder bearing also a photo ID whose name matches that on the credit card as well as the reservation. Otherwise, the deposit will be refunded to the original credit card charged and the guest must pay for the entire stay at the time of check-in.



  • The Dayton House Resort is a family-orientated resort with a quiet atmosphere required from 11:00 pm until 7:00 am. We ask all guests to obey the rules and regulations of the resort at all times


Cancellation Policy

  • If you cancel 14 days or more before your arrival date you will receive a full refund. If you cancel within 14 days of your arrival date you will forfeit the deposit; failure to show or cancellation within two weeks of arrival constitutes forfeiture.


Parking Policy

  • Parking passes are required for onsite parking and will be issued at check-in and must be displayed at all times.
  • One parking pass for rooms and efficiencies
  • Maximum two parking passes for Suites
  • For multiple or oversized vehicles, please contact the resort prior to arrival.
  • Motorcycle Policy: Parking privileges are not extended to motorcycles or vehicles carrying them.



  • We are not responsible for money, jewelry, or other valuables lost or stolen on a property. An in-room safe is available for your convenience.
  • Pets: Sorry, pets are not allowed on the property. Service animals must be registered.
  • Room Supplies: The hotel supplies bed linens and towels for in-room use only. Pool towels not provided.

  • Your Health and Safety is of utmost importance, therefore, if the “Do Not Disturb” sign remains on your door for an extended period- of- time and we are unable to contact you, we may knock on your door and if no answer, enter your room to determine your well-being. Please understand it is not our intention to disturb guests during their vacation, however, we reserve the right to enter rooms to check on the safety and security of our guests and property as well as to perform maintenance and repairs.
