Boardwalk Fright Nights | Myrtle Beach Boardwalk

Walk among the undead at the Boardwalk Fright Nights, every Friday and Saturday evening in October. Experience all the freaky fun as “live” zombies roam the streets of the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk outside of the Nightmare Haunted House, just across from the SkyWheel. Continue the creepy fun with a walk through the Zombie Zone haunted house.  

Ripley’s Haunted Adventure | Myrtle Beach Boardwalk

More ghoulish fun can be found at Ripley’s Haunted Adventure. You’ll be welcomed by new “friends” and big screams at this haunted mansion, located along the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. This adventure is not suitable for young children, so be sure you’re a lover of all things spooky before purchasing tickets. 

Halloween Bash on The Avenue | Broadway at the Beach

The annual Halloween Bash on The Avenue is an all-night adult costume contest for ghosts and ghouls on Saturday night, October 29th. The outdoor party will feature a live DJ, drinks specials at area bars and more. Festivities start at 7:00 p.m. On Halloween night, from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m., kids can participate in trick-or-treating at select shops, eateries and attractions.

Halloween On The MarshWalk | Murrells Inlet MarshWalk 

Join one of the area’s most popular costume contests for kids and adults. The MarshWalk will host this annual event on Halloween night starting with trick-or-treating at 5:00 p.m. and the kids’ costume contest at 6:00 p.m. in front of Drunken Jack’s at the Pirate Statue. Trophies are awarded in several categories. The adult costume contest begins at 7:00 p.m., and winners will be announced at 9:30 p.m. on the MarshWalk side of The Claw House. More than $4000 in cash and prizes will be awarded in several categories. 

Halloween Fun For All | The Market Common

The Market Common will host several Halloween events this holiday season. First, families can enjoy a free Movie Under The Stars on Friday, October 21st at Valor Park. Bring your own blankets or chairs, and enjoy a showing of Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Next, adults will love the Hallow’s Eve Bash on Friday, October 28th at Valor Park. This 21-and-older event includes a costume contest with prizes, vendors selling beer, wine and spooky treats, a live DJ and a scary surprise. Lastly, family-friendly fun continues on Halloween night with Hometown Halloween. From 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., kids can participate in trick-or-treating (look for the businesses with an orange balloon) and the Monster Mash dance party (located in front of the Grand 14 Cinema).

BooLu’s Costume Contest | Barefoot Landing

Beyond the authentic coastal cuisine, LuLu’s hosts fun seasonal events including this Halloween’s BooLu’s Costume Contest. The free event is kid-focused and includes pumpkin decorating, fall-themed crafts and costume contest prizes. Don’t worry – there will also be buckets of candy and allergy-friendly treats! BooFest! | Barefoot Landing

Barefoot Landing hosts BooFest!, a free family-friendly event featuring a costume contest for kids and pets, a fall-themed vignette for family photos and more on Saturday, October 29th. After enjoying all the ghostly activities, settle down for a free showing of Hocus Pocus on the Dockside Village Amphitheater Lawn. The fun continues on Halloween day with trick-or-treating from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at participating shops, attractions and restaurants.   

Conway Ghost Walk | Downtown Conway

The historic riverfront town of Conway will host its annual Ghost Walk tour each evening from October 20th to the 22nd. Learn haunted stories of the city’s vibrant past from tour guides dressed in period attire as you stroll through the streets of Downtown Conway on a one-mile path. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased online or at the Conway Visitor Center. Tours take place from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
