What Time Is Check-In and Check-Out at Dayton House Resort?

Check-in begins at 4:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Arriving early? While early room access depends on availability, guests may complete their check-in paperwork and enjoy the resort facilities until their room is ready. Changing areas are available on-site for guests who would like to use the pools, lazy river, or other resort amenities before receiving room access.

Do You Accommodate Late Check-Out?

Guests may call to request a check-out time extension, provided the room is not scheduled for another guest. If check-out is later than 12:30 PM, a half-day rate may apply.

Is Parking Available at Dayton House Resort?

Hotel parking is complimentary. The main parking lot is located across the street from the front desk. The North and South Buildings have limited covered parking, including several ADA spaces. A four-level covered parking deck is located adjacent to The Rose Room Restaurant on Withers Drive. The Suites Building has a three-level covered parking deck; the first level can accommodate larger vehicles, while the upper levels are for compact cars only. The West Building has several spaces underneath, along with a parking lot behind the building on Withers Drive. Because there are City of Myrtle Beach metered parking areas surrounding the property, guests should look for a designated Dayton House parking sign before parking.

How Far Is the Airport From Dayton House Resort?

Myrtle Beach International Airport is approximately 4.5 miles from the resort. Depending on traffic, the drive may take about 12 to 15 minutes or up to 25 minutes on a high-traffic day.

Is There an Airport Shuttle?

Dayton House does not provide a shuttle to and from the airport. The front desk can provide phone numbers for local ground transportation companies.

Is Transportation Available to Local Attractions?

Myrtle Beach offers public transportation through the Coast RTA system. Guests may ask the front desk for an updated schedule upon arrival.

Where Should Guests Go When They Arrive?

When you arrive, navigate to the middle building at 2400 North Ocean Boulevard, then head inside to the front desk to check in and pick up your parking pass. The main parking lot is located across the street from the front desk, with additional Dayton House parking areas available throughout the property. Look for designated Dayton House parking signs before choosing a space.

The resort fee also includes complimentary Wi-Fi, free on-site parking, free download of the Dayton House Resort app featuring express check-in and digital key service, local and domestic long-distance calls, free calls to Canada, and a full hot breakfast daily at The Rose Room from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

Is the Dayton House South Carolina Resort Oceanfront?

One of the best parts of staying at Dayton House in Myrtle Beach is how quickly you can go from your room to the ocean. Our oceanfront location is the prime spot for anyone whose ideal beach vacation involves rolling out of bed and stepping out on the beach. No wrangling kids into car seats. No sitting in traffic. No hunting for a parking spot in the public beach lot.

Being directly on the beach also makes it easy to break up the day however you want. Some guests spend hours in the sand, then head in for a nap before drifting back to the pools. Others bounce between the lazy river, the shoreline, and the balcony.

What Water Attractions Does Dayton House Resort Have?

Guests can move between indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, and the oceanfront lazy river without ever straying far from the beach. Whether you prefer floating for an hour under the sun or claiming a lounge chair with a book and a frozen drink nearby, there’s always a waterside spot waiting for you.

Several water features are heated, with availability varying by location and season:

• The North Building indoor/outdoor pool is heated year-round.
• All three hot tubs are open and heated year-round.
• The outdoor zero-entry pool and lazy river are heated seasonally from March through October. The Suites Building indoor pool and kiddie pool are heated year-round.

Pool towels are available for guests, making it easy to transition from the beach to the water attractions. Pool hours are 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM.

Standard rooms include an iron, blow dryer, in-room safe, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Efficiency rooms and suites include full-size appliances.

The hotel does not provide cribs or rollaway beds. Guest rooms do not include a washer or dryer, but a coin-operated laundry room is open daily in the West Building, and change is available at the front desk. Daily housekeeping removes trash and provides fresh towels throughout your stay.

The Sundry Shoppe

Open 24 hours a day, The Sundry Shoppe stocks snacks, frozen meals, candy, beer, wine, and beverages for guests who need something quick without leaving the resort.

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort. Guests also have access to a fitness center, a coin-operated laundry room in the West Building, The Sundry Shoppe open 24 hours, and six EV charging stations.

Resort Policies To Know Before Arrival

Here are answers to a few common policy questions guests have about their stay at Dayton House Resort.

How Do I Change My Reservation?

Guests who booked directly should call Dayton House at 1-843-448-2441. Guests who booked through a third-party provider such as Expedia or Booking.com should contact that provider directly.

What Are Your Cancellation & Deposit Policies?

The deposit is fully refundable until 72 hours prior to arrival. Guests who do not arrive on their scheduled arrival date and do not inform the hotel that they wish to change their stay dates (no-show) will forfeit the advance deposit. For reservations booked through a third party, guests should contact the third party to make the cancellation, and the resort will make any needed changes based on the third party’s policy.

What Do Guests Need for Check-In?

The minimum check-in age is 25 years old unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Debit and credit cards are preferred at check-in. The original credit card placed on file at the time of booking must be presented at check-in by the cardholder with a matching ID. Guests choosing to use cash must send a check for the deposit at least one month before the visit to secure the reservation. A $100 cash deposit is also required at check-in and will be refunded by check through the mail within seven days after check-out.

Is Dayton House Resort Pet-Friendly?

Pets are not allowed, but service animals are welcome. This does not include emotional support animals.

Are the Rooms Smoke-Free?

Guest rooms are smoke-free. A $250 fee will be assessed for violating this policy.
