Carolina Country Music Fest

June 6 – 9, 2024

Carolina Country Music Fest, the Southeast’s largest outdoor country music festival, takes place every year in Myrtle Beach. Join local and visiting country music fans from all over for a weekend of music, great food, and fun. The 2024 lineup has yet to be released with the exception of superstar headliner Morgan Wallen. Conway Riverfest

June 2024 | Conway

Saying hello to summer, Conway Riverfest takes place annually in Conway at the end of June. Riverfest features live music, a farmer’s market, artisan crafts, food trucks, and local businesses that make Conway awesome. Take a walk around downtown Conway and stop for photos at the murals!  

Fall Festivals Myrtle Beach

Little River ShrimpFest 

October 14 + 15, 2023 | Little River

The 18th annual Little River ShrimpFest will take place this year on October 14th and 15th. Festival goers can enjoy two full days of fun, from 9 am to 5 pm both days on the Historic Little River Waterfront. This year’s festival features over 100 vendors, live music, stilt walkers, balloon artists, and of course SHRIMP. Restaurants along the water will serve up fresh shrimp and other seafood delights, while food vendors will be ready with your festival favorites. 

Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival

October 20 – 22, 2023

This annual Jazz Festival brings a lineup of “smooth, soulful, and edgy” local and regional jazz musicians to Myrtle Beach every fall. Join the festivities for live music, vendor offerings, and community engagement that will keep you coming back year after year to sing their praises. 

Irish Italian International Festival

September 30, 2023

This festival brings locals and visitors together for a day of music, culture, food, and entertainment. Whether you want to connect with your Irish or Italian roots, learn something new, or just take in the festive atmosphere and cultural diversity, the Irish Italian International Festival is a delightful experience that brings the feel of Ireland and Italy right to Myrtle Beach.

Winter Wonderland at the Beach 

November + December 2024 (except Thanksgiving)

Winter Wonderland at the Beach transforms the area around the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk into, you guessed it, a winter wonderland! Dazzling light displays line the boardwalk, artificial snow makes building snowmen at the beach a breeze, ice rinks let you test your skating abilities, and more. Get your holiday shop for others finished or treat yourself to a gift from one of the many vendors at the festival – either way, you’re in for a true treat. 

Nights of a Thousand Candles

Select Dates November 25 – December 31, 2023 | Brookgreen Gardens

See the beautiful grounds of Brookgreen Gardens come to life under the gentle glow of nearly 3,000 hand-lit candles and millions of sparkling lights during Nights of a Thousand Candles. Stroll the gardens with a toasty cup of apple cider, enjoy holiday music, and enjoy the magic of this unique space lit by candlelight. 

Ripley’s Festival of Trees

November – December 2023 | Ripley’s Aquarium of Myrtle Beach

Each of the 55 US states and territories are represented at Ripley’s Festival of Trees, celebrating the heritage and diversity of each location. The South Carolina tree is always a sight to behold, featuring seashells, magnolia flowers, golf balls, and representation for the state’s great sports teams: Coastal, Clemson, and USC! Make it a game for the whole family with Ripley’s customized scavenger hunt.

This Spring festival has been awarded the Best Annual Event/Festival of the Grand Strand for almost a decade – you don’t want to miss it. Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival

Late March 2024 

Though 2024’s dates have yet to be announced, Myrtle Beach is on the edge of their seats waiting to hear when the next Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival will be held! This event invites food trucks from around the area to showcase their offerings, ranging from sweet treats and savory kabobs to tart lemonades and booze pops – something to satisfy every foodie. Support your favorite truck or find a new staple spot! 

Myrtle Beach International Film Festival

April 23 – 27, 2024 

Hailed as one of Moviemaker Magazine’s “25 Film Festivals Worth the Submission Price”, the Myrtle Beach International Film Festival features great films, networking events, forums, and other events tailored to everyone in the film industry. Where many festivals have exclusively filmmakers as judges, the MBIFF boasts a panel of judges from all walks of life in the industry. Don’t miss this film event!
