Spring Fling Race - Myrtle Beach Speedway

Check out the Nascar Whelen All-American Series at the 2019 Spring Fling Races at the Myrtle Beach Speedway.  Located about 15 minutes from Dayton House Resort is the Myrtle Beach Speedway.  The speedway was built in 1958 and not only is a historic speedway, but offers Motorsports and an Entertainment Venue minutes outside of the heart of the Grand Strand.

The Original name of the speedway was the Rambi Raceway.  The speedway is a semi-banked asphaslt oval track that spans 0.538 miles.  The Nascar Cup Series competed from 1958 – 1965 and the Nascar Bush Series raced from 1988-2000.

This annual 'Spring Fling' Race will include the following divisions: NASCAR Whelen Series Late Models (Twin Races), Chargers, Super Trucks and Vintage Series. Get a sneak peak at open practice Friday before Saturday’s feature race events!

Other things that are currently going on at the tracks include additional NASCAR Whelen All-American Series that race on Saturday nights from late February through November.

The track also runs various other classes of racing including Late Model Charger, Super Trucks and Mini Stocks. The Myrtle Beach Speedway is home of the Myrtle Beach 400, IceBreaker 200, NASCAR Racing Experience, Monster Truck Beach Devastation, NOPI Nationals and the Horry County Fair.  Many other events include Festivals, Car Shows, and Mustang Day and so much more.
