MARCH 2  | MYRTLE BEACH MARATHON

The Annual Myrtle Beach Marathon will take place on Saturday, March 2nd. This year’s event will feature a full marathon, a half marathon, and a 5K. There is also a virtual 10K option for those who can’t make it to the beach. Participants can register online and will receive a finisher medal, finisher tank top, and a long-sleeve shirt with 2024’s design. The race will begin and end at the Myrtle Beach Pelicans stadium with an after-race party featuring refreshments. Participants are encouraged to stay up-to-date by visiting the marathon’s website

MARCH 16 | ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE & FESTIVAL

The 34th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival returns to Main Street in North Myrtle Beach in 2024. This beloved event includes a fun and festive parade starting at 9 am, followed by a family-friendly festival from 11 am to 4 pm. The festival will include multiple stages with live entertainment, loads of local vendors and food trucks, face painting and other activities for the kids, and so much more! MARCH 14 – 16 | RUN TO THE SUN CAR SHOW

Car enthusiasts must add the Run to the Sun Car Show to their can’t-miss spring events in Myrtle Beach. Now in its 35th year, this show offers the best turnout of cars, trucks, and spectators in Myrtle Beach. In addition to thousands of vintage cars and trucks, attendees have the opportunity to meet Tom Wopat, Luke Duke from the iconic television series Dukes of Hazzard. The event takes place at the Old Myrtle Square Mall location between 21st and 29th Avenue in Myrtle Beach. 

MARCH 22 – 23 | WACCAMAW SPORTSMEN’S EXPO

The city of Conway will host the Waccamaw Sportsmen’s Expo on Friday, March 22nd, and Saturday, March 23rd. Events include several DockDog dock jumping events, an Extreme Vertical Competition, plus a Speed Retrieve. The full expo opens Saturday with a day of vendors, demonstrations, competition, and fun. APRIL 5 | MYRTLE BEACH PELICANS BASEBALL – OPENING DAY

It’s official — spring baseball is back! The Myrtle Beach Pelicans will kick off their home debut for the 2024 season this spring with a game against the Fayetteville Woodpeckers. APRIL 13–23 | SOS SPRING SAFARI

In true Spring Break style, the end of April in Myrtle Beach attracts thousands of shag dancers from all over the East Coast for the Society of Stranders Spring Safari. The annual North Myrtle Beach event includes tea parties, shag dancing, dance lessons, live music and mingling with friends, plus a parade on April 27th. As the sun goes down, the local lounges light up with activity, including spots like Duck’s, Fat Harold’s, Pirate’s Cove, and the OD Lounge, becoming the center of nightlife and fun. APRIL 27 | SOCASTEE HERITAGE FESTIVAL

If you’re looking for Spring Break festivals in 2024, the Socastee Heritage Festival is a fun – and free – event. This Spring Break event takes place in the heart of the town along old Hwy 544 and across the Socastee Swing Bridge. If you love live music, visit Conway for Groovin’ on the Green, a FREE, family-friendly concert series this spring. The spring weather is great for this event — just bring a chair or blanket and choose your spot near the stage. MAY 10 – 19 | MYRTLE BEACH BIKE WEEK SPRING RALLY

Motorcycles will flood the Grand Strand for the annual Myrtle Beach Bike Week Spring Rally from May 10th through the 19th. Exciting events fill this festival with fun. Some of the spring events include riding tours through beach towns and area landmarks, games, racing, and live entertainment – all planned to help motorcyclists to enjoy their vacation. MAY 18 – 19 | WORLD FAMOUS BLUE CRAB FESTIVAL

Hosted on the historic Little River waterfront and attracting nearly 50,000 attendees each year, the annual Little River Blue Crab Festival is one of the Southeast’s largest celebrations. While fresh seafood and area cuisine are the top draws, other attractions include live beach music, arts and crafts vendors, and a children’s activity area to keep the little ones entertained. Experience Brookgreen Gardens like never before at the 11th Annual Memorial Day Weekend Run. This 5K race is held in the evening and is open to runners and walkers of all ages. The 11th annual race path will lead participants in and out of the sculpture gardens, through the Lowcountry Zoo, and around several ecosystems in nature reserves found on the property. MAY 28 – JUNE 1 | NATIONAL RETIRED MILITARY GOLF CLASSIC

The 41st Annual National Retired Military Golf Classic will hit the links May 28th through June 1. Event registration is available online now.
