The Track Family Recreation Center has been completed, and the thrilling attraction is now open for business! This expansive and family-friendly attraction offers exciting multilevel go-kart tracks to race on. There are tracks suitable for various levels of experience and skill, so even the kids can have the fun of driving their own go-karts on a safe and skill-appropriate track. Meanwhile, adult adrenaline junkies can put the pedal to the metal on more advanced courses. The Track also features a huge indoor arcade with over 75 games for all ages.

Pirate Adventures of Myrtle Beach is another new attraction this year. The Pirate Adventures staff will take your child aboard the Sea Gypsy and set sail on a hunt for sunken treasure! Young pirates learn the rules of the sea while collaborating to solve the puzzle of the treasure map and find the hidden booty. The brave crew will also need to win a water-cannon battle against Pirate Pete to succeed in their quest! Pirate Adventures is a fun and memorable experience for your little buccaneers.

Broadway at the Beach has been undergoing some changes and renovations. A brand-new Dave & Buster’s is being opened in the pyramid formerly occupied by the Hard Rock Café. Construction work on the new attraction is moving along quickly, and Dave & Buster’s is scheduled for an early summer opening. The new Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen is also nearing completion, and Celebrity Square is getting a fresh new facelift. Be sure to check out the newest additions to one of the most familiar attractions in Myrtle Beach.

The Cooper House Theater is under new management in 2017. While Cooper House was in the past known primarily as a venue for weddings and other special events, the new management is aiming to change that. They are introducing a new Murder Mystery Dinner Theater event presented by the Stage Left Theatre Company. Presentations will include both evening and matinee shows, and the tickets are $25 per person with a meal included. Check out their calendar to see when the shows will be held!

There are a lot of new things coming to Myrtle Beach, but sometimes what is new is also comfortably familiar. The restaurant’s first Grand Strand location opened in late 2016 at U.S. Highway 17 and South Carolina 544. Enjoy the Panera soups, salads and sandwiches you’ve grown to love, even when you’re away from home!
