4th Annual Halloween on the Marsh Walk, Waterfront in Murrells Inlet10/31/09
The restaurants along the Marsh Walk will host the 4th Annual Halloween on the Marsh Walk, Saturday, October 31st with a Children’s’ Costume Contest and Trick-or-Treating. There will also be an Adult Costume Contest featuring a $1000 Cash Prize for the First Place winner.Murrells Inlet, SC October 11, 2009: Halloween on the Marsh Walk has quickly become a tradition for the waterfront Marsh Walk in Murrells Inlet. This year’s events include Trick-or-Treating and a Children’s Costume Contest with prizes awarded for “The Scariest”, “The Funniest”, and “The Most Creative” costumes from 5pm – 6pm. The contest judging will be at 6pm in front of the Pirate Statue at Drunken Jack’s restaurant.
The Adult Costume Contest begins at 8pm and final judging will be held at 10:30pm, Captain Dave’s Dockside in the waterfront gazebo bar. Prizes include $1000 in cash and gift certificates from each of the restaurants: Spud’s Waterfront Dining, Dead Dog Saloon, Creek Ratz, Dockside, Drunken Jack’s, Divine Fish House and Bovine’s. Participants must visit each restaurant for judging and collect all seven bracelets to be eligible for final judging.
